Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Specification Sales role based in Vaughan, ON. The Specification Sales professional will build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, builders, and other project stakeholders to drive product adoption in residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Day-to-day activities include meeting with clients in showrooms and on-site, presenting product options, preparing and following up on quotes, and guiding clients through material selection to final specification. The role involves conducting product training and presentations, staying current on design trends and technical requirements, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and project execution. The individual will also track sales activities, manage a territory pipeline, and contribute feedback on market needs and product opportunities.

Qualifications

Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage clients, understand project requirements, and provide clear, professional support.
Proven Sales experience, including building pipelines, closing deals, and working with trade and design professionals.
Experience in Training and Sales Management or team coordination, with the ability to deliver product presentations and support sales initiatives.
Knowledge of or interest in luxury surfaces, interior design, architecture, or construction materials.
Ability to work on-site in Vaughan, ON, with a valid driver’s license for local client visits as needed.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, including proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Previous experience in specification sales, building materials, or related industries is an asset; relevant post-secondary education is beneficial.
