Quanex is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join our North American Fenestration sales team. This is a remote position.
The Strategic Account Manager will assist the VP of Strategic Sales in developing and executing strategic objectives and will be the key contact for projects that include ongoing product development opportunities, product quality issues, quoting processes and project list management.

What Success Looks Like
- Manage documentation systems for Supplier Quality program, Product Life Management system, and Material deviation requests.
- Develop plant Quality Assurance and production relationships to intercept Pre-Corrective Action Process situations.
- Facilitate communication of product approval process.
- Serve as point of contact for internal improvement projects.
- Act as primary point of contact for plant/quality issues and facilitate necessary escalations and corrective actions quickly to Quanex resources.
- Address issues of product backlogs/backorders and communicate with customer teams.
- Review current and recent product or application updates with Operations team to gauge solution effectiveness.
- Identify new opportunities to improve use of product or application at the point of use.
- Support in coordinating New Product Development and Overhaul Product Development product launches.
- Gather insight from customers to assist in forecasting/demand needs and revisions.
- Communicate delivery and load priorities for truck pick-ups at various Quanex facilities.
Your Credentials
- B.A. /B.S. in Business or related field is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of business experience with five in sales and business development in window and door hardware products desired.
- Demonstrated success managing strategic OEM customer relationships.
- Highly driven, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
- Proficient in negotiation and adept at solving complex problems.
Salary Range: $105,000-$130,000 per year.
