We are seeking a dynamic and driven Full Time Outside Sales professional to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be the face of our company, actively engaging with potential clients and existing accounts to grow our business. Your passion for sales, combined with your ability to develop strong relationships and identify new opportunities, will be key to your success. We are looking for someone with a background in building materials sales and construction, a great candidate will be able to transition seamlessly into this role.
Duties
- Prospect and generate new leads through cold calling and networking strategies to expand our customer base.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs, showcasing our solutions’ value and features
- Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients while maintaining profitability and building long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with our other departments to plan delivery of building materials in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales of building materials and construction knowledge.
- Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, and account management to foster lasting client relationships.
- Ability to use computers and our operating software.
- Excellent communication skills for effective product demos, presentations, and negotiations.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities through lead generation techniques
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
- A full "G" license so you can operate our pick up trucks to visit customers either on jobsites or at their offices.
Compensation
- We offer a base salary with commission and RRSP matching opportunities that we can discuss at the time of interview.
