As the Paid Media Specialist, you support Home Hardware’s media strategy and paid media executions to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and ultimately drive sales. Led by the Manager, Media Strategy, this opportunity will best suit someone who has programmatic and social media advertising experience as well as strong communication skills.

- Work collectively with our media team, agencies and internal stakeholders on campaign planning, trafficking, execution, and reporting, ensuring campaigns are executed on time and on budget, while also maximizing ROI.
- Monitor and optimize paid placements across social media, programmatic and SEM, focusing on key metrics such as impressions, clicks, conversions and engagement. Identify opportunities for improvement and budget re-allocation.
- Monitor and analyze affiliate campaign performance to measure effectiveness. Identify opportunities for improvement and budget re-allocation.
- Responsible for weekly reporting of KPIs and strategic insights, ensuring the report is accurate and representative of performance.
- Develop and execute tests and analyze trends and insights to adapt our strategies to achieve maximum ROI.
- Serve as point of contact for the promotion of our digital flyers. Track and monitor all media purchases to ensure programs are executed accurately, on time and on budget. Stay on top of new tools and features within the digital flyer landscape.
- Stay up to date on the latest media and technology trends as well as new tools, platforms, and best practices.
We’re looking for:
- Diploma in Business, Marketing or Advertising with 3 years’ experience with programmatic and social media advertising.
- Demonstrated media experience and strong understanding of digital marketing platforms and tools across SEM, paid social, programmatic and affiliate marketing, including Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platforms (CM360, SA360, DV360) and Social Media Ad Accounts.
- Strong understanding of various advertising mediums and their KPIs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to take initiative and multi-task, strong project management skills.
- Strong attention to detail; high degree of problem-solving abilities, able to assess problems and recommend solutions.
- Eye for detail and ability to turn data into meaningful learnings and insights.
- The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.

- The expected starting salary range for this role is $56,500- $74,100; the final offer will reflect relevant skills and experience.
