Job Summary: The primary responsibilities of the Insulation Associate are to professionally install blow in and batt insulation. This may include other product categories as well as we continue to expand this value-added segment. This individual will be expected to provide a quality job both in terms of product satisfaction and proper installation for each and every customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load trucks accurately and according to the list of materials on sales and work order/invoice.
- Install both blow in and batt insulation that meet/exceed the customers’ expectations while within the general context of the work order.
- Maintain safe conditions, neat housekeeping and superb manners at office, warehouse, job site, and in company vehicles.
- Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by the Installed Manager.
- Attend training sessions to learn and keep current on products and services we sell.
- Assist in the training, support and development of peers.
Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be dependable and have a willingness to learn.
- Ability to use ladders and related equipment.
- Ability to operate knives for cutting insulation.
- Ability to analyze technical problems, determine root causes and develop remediation strategies for permanent resolutions.
- Honest, dependable, and have strong communication skills.
- Must work well as part of a team and individually.
- Ability to work with insulation in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
