Richelieu Hardware is seeking to fill a permanent, full-time Project Tracker position based at our head office of Ville St-Laurent.
In your role, you will bridge all communication gaps between the Specification Teams projects (from Architec/Designers specifications of Richelieu products) to the most complete version of sales leads to the Department of Industrial Sales.
You will use detailed research techniques and information collecting, from diverse tools available in order to facilitate the realization of the opportunity. In tandem, the specification support roll will maintain and create easy visualization of time sensitive and extremely crucial information from our digital High Gear system and organize it into presentable, trackable, functional and critical leads for the industrial sales to follow. The Project Managers main goal is to garner the missing information from the General Contractor and Developers to help the Industrial Sales Team seize all known opportunities on the market and to provide the opportunity for successful sales orders.
More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to:
- Find, organize and share; planning, submission and current projects throughout Canada using Insight/CDC, SEAO and other accessible programs to their maximum potential.
- Projects from architects & designers driven by the specification team
- Projects without architects & designers (by contractor only) for the sales team
- Project data entry & Visualization
- Critical Information Report (North America Specification); Number of projects, estimated total value of projects & project yield for each spec
- Visualization Reports for management and Canadian sales teams: To include both a list of active projects to follow and a list of important projects in preparation.
- Communication & Telemarketing
- Establish, develop, and maintain relations with General Contractors/ Developers
- Establish active communication and be a liaison between specification and sales; ultimately to successfully provide critical leads.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar position
- Ability to read architectural plans
- Skill for reading specification and tender/bid documents & quotes
- Computer literate and experienced in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ready for learning and using new management systems; High Gear, Insight, Seao, AS400 and other business-related applications
- Facility for telemarketing with strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks (or project files) simultaneously
- Ability to research and find solutions
- Self-starter personality, resourceful and detail oriented
- Ability to qualify prospects through effective networking and relationship‑building.
- Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
