We have 210 employees in Windsor spread across 3 sites on 2 shifts (day/evening)

What will you do at our place?
- You will be working as a receptionist.
Obviously, you will always have to keep your workstation clean, safe, and perform quality work.
Brief description of tasks:
- Assisting with the receipt and inspection of raw materials from suppliers (wood, glass, production supplies and doors)
- Assisting with the receiving and inspection of inter-factory products (components and doors)
- Place the received materials in the designated inventory locations.
- Prepare the products to be returned to the suppliers
- Sort through non-compliant materials as needed
- Help prepare imported doors at the warehouse for shipment
- Manually handle the doors for order preparation
- Load the trailers according to the loading slips and secure the pallets inside the trailers.
- Ensure that orders are placed in the correct trailers and shipped to the correct locations.
- Perform maintenance on work areas and preventative maintenance on certain equipment
- Supply the bins with raw materials according to the production flow
- Ensure the rotation of materials required for production (open packages, empty 901 prod of produced components)
- Maintaining order and logical storage in warehouses
- Maintaining order and cleanliness in the workplace
- Perform other related tasks within their competence as needed or at the request of their supervisor
What are the requirements for working in this position?
- Having a constant concern for health and safety
- Valid forklift operator's certificate of competence (holding all classes: in-house training)
- Ability to read and interpret delivery notes and work orders
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Knowledge of window and door types
- Training and lockout/tagout card (an asset)
- Knowledge of wood species
- Knowledge and ability to use SAP
- Ability to use Word and Excel (an asset)
- Dynamic and open to performing other tasks in his/her sector (job rotation).
- Ability to organize one's work and to work in a team
- Great attention to precision, quality, order and cleanliness.
- CTPAT Training (Internal Training)
- Being in good physical shape, in particular, but without dwelling on it
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours a day
- Good physical strength
Daytime hours:
- 6:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday to Thursday
- 6:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Friday
