As an Inside Contract Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in driving contract sales by managing relationships with commercial clients, understanding their project needs, and providing tailored building materials solutions. Your role will involve effective communication, collaboration with external partners, and achieving sales targets.
The shifts are Monday - Friday and the wage range is $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Project quotes, enter delivery orders, place special orders, and assist in purchasing.
- Build strong customer relationships through reliable call backs, follow up on deliveries, and awareness of project timeline to foresee material needs.
- Maintaining merchandising standards in designated areas
- Will be required to become subject matter expert.
- Attend sales team meetings as needed.
- Be a source of knowledge and willing to learn about new building materials: lumber, roofing, siding, insulation, drywall, hardware, retaining walls, pavers, concrete, etc.
- Take pride in your work environment keeping your desk area clean and presentable.
- Respect and obey safety policies and procedures in our yard and on job sites.
- All other duties as directed by management.
Skills and Qualifications
- A broad knowledge of building supplies is necessary.
- Available to work a variety of hours including weekends.
- Sales experience an asset
- Competitive spirit and results driven.
- Computer Skills required.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize.
- Self-motivated and detail oriented.
