Porcea Stone (and its sister brand STONEarch) are Ontario's go-to source for premium natural stone and outdoor porcelain — the materials behind some of the most striking residential and commercial projects across Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic Canada, and select US markets. We work with landscape contractors, architects, and designers who don't settle for ordinary, and neither do we. From pool coping to full outdoor living collections, our portfolio is curated for people who care deeply about what they build.
We're founder-led, growing fast, and super excited about where we're headed. The team is lean, the work is meaningful, and whoever steps into this role is going to make a real mark on how we grow over the next five years.
The Role
We’re looking for a Head of Sales who excels at two things: developing people and winning business. This is a "player-coach" position, which means roughly 70% of the role is sales leadership, and around 30% is carrying your own book of business as an individual contributor.
On the leadership side, you’ll manage a growing team of sales representatives. That means consistent one-on-ones, close pipeline oversight, thoughtful account assignment, and staying attuned to where each rep is thriving and where they need support. You’ll hold the team accountable to strong CRM habits and ensure the data we’re working from is accurate and complete. This isn’t a high-altitude strategy role; it’s hands-on, relationship-driven team management. On the individual contributor side, you’ll maintain your own accounts and actively close deals.
What You’ll Own
- Regular one-on-ones with your sales team. Understanding each rep’s challenges, momentum, and development needs
- Full pipeline visibility across the team, with a clear sense of what’s moving and what needs attention
- Account assignment and reassignment; ensuring the right people are managing the right relationships
- CRM discipline across the team - holding everyone accountable to keeping HubSpot thorough, accurate, and up to date
- Coaching and active support, identifying where reps are struggling and providing meaningful, practical help
- Your own book of business. A defined set of accounts you personally manage and grow
What We're Looking For
- 5-10+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2-3 years in a team leadership or player-coach capacity
- A demonstrated track record of both managing a sales team and carrying personal revenue targets - not one or the other
- Strong people instincts; you can read where a rep is at, identify what’s getting in their way, and adjust your approach accordingly
- Comfort running structured pipeline reviews and holding a team to a high standard of CRM accuracy
- A collaborative, low-ego leadership style. You lead through credibility and consistency, not authority
- Ontario-based, with the ability to visit stakeholders occasionally across the GTA and surrounding regions
- [OPTIONAL] Experience in building materials, construction, landscape, or a related trade channel is a meaningful advantage
Compensation & Structure
- Competitive base and bonus structure (tied to team and individual performance)
- Comprehensive benefits package (individual and family coverage), company-provided computer, and mileage reimbursement
- Full-time, permanent role
- In-person presence required in the Bolton / GTA area, with occasional travel across Southern Ontario
