The Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned ICI Roofing Sales Estimator to take ownership of estimating and sales activity across the business.
This role is ideal for someone who operates confidently in the competitive ICI roofing market, understands how to price risk appropriately, and knows how to build and maintain strong client relationships across the industry.
You will be involved throughout the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and estimating through to handoff and ongoing client engagement, working closely with ownership and operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead estimating activities across re-roofing, service, maintenance, coatings, metals, and new construction
• Prepare complete, accurate, and competitive estimates independently
• Manage bid opportunities and assess which projects align with business strategy
• Drive sales and business development, with a strong emphasis on re-roofing
• Prospect for new work and nurture long-term client relationships
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and project locations as required
• Support awarded projects through coordination with project management and field leadership
• Contribute to pricing strategy, margin protection, and overall profitability
• Support consistent use of internal digital systems and processes
• Represent the company professionally at industry events, networking functions, and trade shows
Required Experience
• Minimum of5 years of proven experience independently estimating ICI commercial roofing projects
• Demonstrated success in sales and business development within the commercial roofing sector specifically (must be industry specific)
• Exceptional technical understanding of commercial roofing systems, labour, materials, and risk
• Deep capacity for navigating the competitive tendering landscape
