As a full-time Receiver with LFT, you will be part of a dedicated team based at our Millcreek Distribution Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, reporting to Derek Morley on the AM shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM).

What You Will Get To Do
The Receiver/Putaway Driver is responsible for stock keeping, unloading trucks, and receiving inventory, as well as operating a Reach truck to perform daily putaway tasks. This role ensures that all products unloaded from trucks are accurately counted and recorded in our warehouse management system, with counts verified against purchase orders. The Receiver/Putaway Driver must also work safely with machine wrappers in a fast-paced environment.
*Being certified to operate a forklift is requirement*

Key Responsibilities
- Check incoming product against invoices or orders to spot quantity discrepancies and damaged goods and inspect the quality and condition of the product
- Breakdown and restack product
- Product and quantity verification
- Place products into the designated locations
- Clearing & Transferring inventory into proper location in a timely fashion
- Verifies that SKU numbers and quantity are correct on all pallets to be put away
- Verifies that inventory is put away correctly and that all stacked bulk pallets are safe
Who You Are
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory
- 1-2 years experience as a Receiver within a Distribution environment
- Forklift Certification
- Proficient on computer programs as well as Internet explorer
- Must be flexible and able to multitask and prioritize with minimal supervision
- Must be flexible for overtime and weekend to meet business demands
- Strong attention to detail is mandatory
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Must have good manual dexterity
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with an RF device is an asset
- Flexible team player
