We are hiring for a full-time Regional General Manager – Multiple Canadian Regions
As BOXX Modular continues to grow across Canada, we are looking for experienced business leaders to join our team as Regional General Managers.
We are recruiting Regional General Managers across four regions:
- Southern British Columbia
- Northern British Columbia & Yukon
- Prairies & Northwest Territories
- Central & Eastern Canada
Reporting to the SVP, MSS Canada, each Regional General Manager will have overall accountability for the leadership, operational performance, and financial results of their region.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who knows how to run a business, develop strong leaders, drive profitable growth, and create alignment across Sales and Operations. You will lead a multi-site regional business with responsibility for financial performance, customer experience, asset management, operational excellence, and the development of your people.
The role requires a visible and hands-on leadership presence across the region. Extensive travel is required, including regular visits to branches and customers to stay connected to the business, support growth opportunities, and build strong relationships with employees and customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the Business
- Own the overall performance of your region and deliver regional revenue, profitability, and return on assets (ROA) targets.
- Monitor business performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency while maintaining asset quality and customer experience.
- Consolidate and prioritize regional quarterly CAPEX and staffing requirements.
- Translate Company strategy into clear regional priorities and ensure effective execution across the business.
- Use financial, operational, and market information to make sound business decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
Drive Sales & Regional Growth
- Execute sales strategies and growth priorities across the region.
- Lead regional sales teams to achieve revenue and margin objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities and evolving customer needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key and strategic customers.
- Support major customer negotiations and Master Service Agreements as required.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities and risks.
- Create strong alignment between Sales and Operations to support customer commitments and optimize fleet utilization.
Deliver Operational Excellence
- Provide leadership and oversight for regional operations and ensure consistent execution of Company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement while maintaining asset quality and a consistent customer experience.
- Oversee fleet management, inventory optimization, asset utilization, and MQS fleet condition.
- Partner with Operational Excellence to improve asset lifecycle performance.
- Collaborate with Project Management on project execution, scheduling, and resource utilization.
- Support effective vendor management and strategic supplier relationships.
- Partner with Legal on customer contracts and commercial agreements when required.
Build Strong Leaders & Teams
- Build, develop, coach, and retain high-performing regional leadership teams.
- Establish clear expectations and accountability for business and individual performance.
- Develop leadership capability and strengthen succession pipelines across the region.
- Lead regional succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and leadership development initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance culture aligned with Company values.
- Collaborate with other Regional General Managers to share best practices and advance strategic priorities across MSS Canada.
Lead Safety & Compliance
- Champion the Company's Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) program.
- Promote a strong safety culture with a goal of zero injuries.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and Company policies.
- Identify operational risks and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
What You Bring
We are looking for established business leaders who combine strong operational leadership, commercial judgment, financial acumen, and people leadership.
The successful candidate will ideally bring:
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience with increasing operational responsibility.
- 5+ years of experience leading multi-site operations with full P&L accountability.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams across Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Administration.
- Proven success driving business growth, financial performance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management.
- A track record of developing high-performing leadership teams and building leadership capability.
- Strong customer, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and execute strategic initiatives.
- Experience in a customer-focused, asset-intensive, industrial, modular space, construction, rental, or related business environment is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant leadership experience will be considered.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned region.

Qualifications and Skills:
- 10+ years of progressive sales and commercial leadership experience.
- Experience leading multi-region or national sales organizations.
- Demonstrated success managing strategic customer relationships and national accounts.
- Experience leading complex commercial negotiations and contract management.
- Proven ability to deliver sustained revenue and profitability growth.
- Experience developing sales strategies and commercial excellence programs.
- Experience working within an industrial, modular, construction, manufacturing, or asset-intensive environment is preferred.
- Experience leading organizational changes and business transformation initiatives is considered an asset.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively across Canada to meet with customers and maintain a strong presence across MSS Canada branches, including quarterly branch visits in support of sales development activities.
Reporting
- Custom Modular Sales Representative will report directly to the National Sales Manager
